As reported in recent days in the media, the Administration is considering various proposals such as a payroll tax cut or an extension of tax filing and payment deadlines out of consideration for the impact of COVID-19 on the economy and perceived risks associated with congregation in public spaces. We are staying current with these developments including the passage of any new legislation that would impact you. As soon as such events occur, we will communicate them to you.

Additionally, we want to make you aware that KatzAbosch has the following precautions in place:

– Timely Procedure Updates: First of all, with the information about this virus changing rapidly we are taking every opportunity to stay informed and provide accurate and timely information to our staff about its development and our firm procedures guiding them on how to maintain a safe work environment.

– Workplace Safety Terms: Employees who present themselves at work with symptoms will be asked to seek medical evaluation. They will also be advised to stay home. The firm has communicated with the entire firm that the most important thing they can do is to wash their hands, communicate if they are not feeling well, and to be mindful of what they are doing.

– Business Continuity Assurance: KatzAbosch operates on an advanced technology platform which allows us to serve clients whether our team members are at one of our offices, at a client location or at home. As a result, we expect any disruption that occurs to be minimal should events require us to close the office for a period of time. While our goal is to maintain the highest level of service during this health crises, we must remain flexible with our team members who are working to balance family needs due to the spread of the coronavirus.
