Michele Armstrong

Director, Lead of Construction Services Group

Background & Experience

Michele Armstrong is a Shareholder, Director, and Co-Chair of the Construction Services Group at KatzAbosch. She brings more than 30 years of experience in accounting, auditing, and advisory. Michele began her career as a Supervisor at KatzAbosch in 1989, then advanced through progressively senior roles—including Vice President at a financial firm, then Principal and later Partner at an accounting firm where she provided accounting, auditing, tax, and advisory services to clients across a wide range of industries, including construction, manufacturing, and real estate. That trajectory shaped the cross-industry background she brings accounting, tax, and advisory work for closely held businesses.

Michele rejoined KatzAbosch in 2022, where she is a member of the accounting and auditing services group. In this role, she leads client engagements across construction, real estate, manufacturing, and professional services, drawing on her Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional (CCIFP) designation—a credential held by fewer than 50 professionals in Maryland and fewer than 1,000 nationwide. Clients value Michele’s hands-on approach and rely on her to provide practical financial guidance. She works closely with contractors and business owners to strengthen job cost tracking, improve bonding capacity and cash flow, and enhance the accuracy of financial reporting.
