Transaction Advisory Services
Value is where most of our work starts, but it is rarely where it ends. What a business is worth drives what a buyer can pay and what a lender will finance. Structure, timing, working capital, and taxes can have as much bearing on the outcome as the price itself.
Building a defensible opinion of value means taking apart the financials, testing the addbacks, and understanding how a company actually makes money. That familiarity is what makes the same team useful well past the report. Clients frequently engage us for a valuation and keep us through quality of earnings work, purchase price negotiation, and structuring decisions that determine what they net at close.
It’s also why the most valuable conversation usually happens earlier than clients expect. A valuation prepared once a buyer is at the table can only report what the records show. The same analysis a few years earlier gives an owner time to change what those records will say.
As a full-service CPA firm, we provide tax, accounting, and audit experience when an engagement needs it, whether that means coordinating with a client’s existing advisors or with colleagues who already know the business.
