Linda J. Lang Elected to Board of Directors for The Army Alliance at Aberdeen Proving Ground June 15, 2015 The Shareholders of KatzAbosch congratulate Linda J. Lang on being elected to the Board of Directors for The Army Alliance at Aberdeen Proving Ground. Linda was officially announced as a Board of Directors Member at the Army Alliance Annual Dinner on June 8, 2015 at the Water’s Edge Event Center in Belcamp, MD. Over 150 people attended the Annual Dinner featuring Maryland Congressman Dutch Ruppersberger and John Willison, deputy director of the U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Research and Development Center, who spoke about Army initiatives in cybersecurity. Linda is a Government Contracting Advisor at KatzAbosch. She provides a specialized list of consultative services to include proposal review and analysis, assistance with proposal preparation, contract maintenance, GSA scheduling, small business reporting, contract administration and training. Before joining KatzAbosch in 2015, Linda worked for over 25 years as a government contractor for large and small businesses in the Baltimore and DC Metro areas, where she specialized in both contracting and subcontracting. Linda’s experience working alongside government contractors such as Northrop Grumman, Lockheed Martin, Boeing, Innoplex and TASC has positioned her as one of the most sought-after experts in her industry. Linda has broad experience with managing government contracts, developing corporate policies and procedures for Contract Management Systems, in-house teaching and program specific training on topics including compliance training in exports and organizational conflicts of interest. She is a member of National Contract Management Association (NCMA), Armed Forces Communications & Electronics Association (AFCEA) and a member of the Howard County Chamber of Commerce, GovConnects Advisory Council. Linda practices her craft through her business philosophy to develop profitable relationships for everyone. Linda earned her M.S. in Business Finance and Management from Johns Hopkins University; her Masters Certificate as a Program Management Professional from University of California, Irvine; and her B.A. in Business from University of Maryland. Linda is pleased to be on the Board of Directors for The Army Alliance and feels the mission is tremendously important to the business community in Maryland.
