Arlene Ciroula Helps Raise Money with Fiber Art

KatzAbosch COO, Arlene R. Ciroula, AAAPM, created this fiber artwork to help raise money for fallout victims of Fukushima in Japan.

So far, her contribution along with those of other fiber artists has raised approximately $400 USD which will be used to help Tamatukuri kafe provide housing for refugees in Kansai.  Ciroula describes her artwork as follows:

“It is my handspun yarn wrapped in the shape of a heart.  The heart in the wheel represents the love being sent across the world to the victims in Kansai. The love is as big as the wheel since the wheel represents the size of the world.”

Ciroula’s charitable artwork is currently on display at BIT CUBE art space in Kyoto, Japan:
