AGC of America 2015 Construction Outlook Survey Results

The Associated General Contractors of America has published their Construction Outlook Survey Results.  Based on this information, they generated an easy to digest infographic in addition to a more lengthy report titled, “2015-Construction-Hiring-and-Business-Outlook-Report

  • 47% higher expected dollar volume for Manufacturing projects to compete for in 2015
  • 44% higher expected dollar volume for Energy projects to compete for in 2015
  • 55% reported that employee count increased between December 2013 and December 2014
  • 41% reported a current workforce challenge of “having a hard time filing both professional and craft worker positions.”
  • 82% reported an increase in the cost of providing health care insurance for employees in 2014
