MBA is seeking a HealthCare consultant with two to four years of practice experience and/or two to three years of medical consulting experience to join our team. This person will need to be well versed in all aspects of medical practice management with excellent analytical and interpersonal skills.

Description of Duties

  • Experience in all areas of medical practice management from the front desk to the back office including medical billing, collections, coding, training, financial review, and analysis, analyzing, and making recommendations and standardizing PM reports. Insurance contract analysis, review and negotiation, a plus. Also, OTC collections, front desk scheduling and workflow improvement, internal controls and assessing staffing, overall and for particular positions.
  • Experience in Population Health and Value-Based care/payment model
  • Analyzes and makes decisions on specific tasks requirements; Assists in monitoring and tracking specific project deliverables and milestones. Performs ad hoc tasks as assigned
  • Perform varied and difficult tasks under minimum supervision, conferring with supervisor on unusual matters. Assignments may be routine or may be broad in nature requiring originality and ingenuity; Provides technical knowledge and analysis of specific functional areas of expertise.

Qualifications

Must have an Associate degree, Bachelor’s Degree preferred and two to four years of experience. Specialized training in medical practice management and medical billing subject matter, a plus. Must possess sharp analytical skills, strong communication skills including the ability to effectively present information and respond to client’s needs. Ability to analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures and government regulations. Must have the ability to communicate both verbally and written, be technically competent, self-motivated, and reliable to anticipate needs of clients, etc. Work will be performed in client offices and onsite at the Katz Abosch offices.
